Communicable, maternal, neonatal, and nutritional diseases
The treemap shows the years of life lost due to death (YLL) by cause of death at the national level in relation to each other. This shows the share of individual diseases or disease groups in the Burden of Disease. They have been grouped into levels 1-3. Example: level 1 corresponds to the classification into three groups: (I) communicable, maternal, neonatal, and nutritional diseases; (II) noncommunicable diseases; (III) injuries. Levels II and III represent more sophisticated divisions of diseases. By selecting a level, you can set all diseases or disease groups in relation to each other, or by selecting individual tiles, you can view them in detail on the next level.
